Background: Bridging Lanka has set up several businesses such as gym’s, a donkey clinic and a café. These were set up with charitable funding however it is intended that they can operate as successful business that provide an income and livelihood to local residents thereby benefitting the local economy and communities. The challenge for us is that despite needing to be profitable, at their core, these businesses have a social and moral core aiming to benefit those that need it and bring about societal cohesion and community support.
Role: We are looking for volunteers with experience in running small businesses, social enterprises or start-ups. The following attributes are preferable:
